WikiCoffeeTable gathers coffee and cocktail tables for the living room: round, oval, square and rectangular tops in wood, glass, metal or a marble look, with lift tops and shelves where the seller says so. Each entry keeps the seller's own description beside the latest price we read.

What is read from a title

The shape, the material of the top, the longest size printed in inches, a lifting top and a shelf, drawer or other storage are taken from the seller's own title. A title that is silent on one of them leaves that field blank here, and a title that names two shapes or two materials without saying which is meant is left blank as well. No measurement is ever filled in from a similar table, and centimeters or bare numbers are not converted into a size.

What this site leaves out

A table that the seller calls only an end table, a side table or a console is not listed here, and neither are TV stands, dining tables, desks, ottomans sold as seats, replacement tops and legs, or ornaments meant to sit on a coffee table. A set stays when its title names a coffee table in it.

Nothing has been set in a room here

We have not put a book, a cup or a child on any of these tables, so there is no ranking by sturdiness, no verdict on scratches and no claim about tipping or weight limits. Whether a table suits your sofa and your floor is a question for the listing, for owners who have lived with it for months and for a tape measure.

Prices carry a reading time

Each price on this site is stamped with the time we read it. When a reading goes stale we remove it rather than let it pass for today's price, and the final price is always the one on the store's own page.
